Please join us at Neshanic Valley Golf Course for the New Jersey Chapter of the Society for Information Management (NJ SIM) annual Technology Exchange & Charity Golf Outing.

Neshanic Valley Golf Course is ranked in the top 10 of all public golf courses in the state. The 27-hole Championship Course, the 9-hole Academy Course, the Learning Center, and the Callaway Golf Performance Center were designed to accommodate the needs of golfers of all abilities.

This unique all day event combines the best of networking, information exchange and fun, as well as an opportunity to support the NJ SIM Foundation and Scholarship programs. Last year in addition to great golf, networking and great sponsor interaction, we raised over $50,000 for the NJ SIM Foundation which provides among other services, a local Educational Scholarship Program.

PRIMARY BENEFACTOR:

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)

We are pleased to announce that the primary benefactor for this year’s CIO Technology Expo & Charity Golf Outing will be the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

The JDRF is the worldwide leader in funding research to cure type 1 diabetes, an autoimmune disease that strikes children and adults suddenly and last a lifetime. JDRF has made a bold impact on the research landscape by setting the agenda for type 1 diabetes research worldwide.  They just don’t fund basic science, but take scientific developments and translate them into cures, treatments, drugs and therapies. JDRF is the go-to organization for diabetes research.  The Foundation plays a unique role in setting the global direction of diabetes research by partnering with academia, the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, venture capitalists, government entities, and other foundations.

FACT: Over 679,204 individuals in New Jersey have Diabetes and this number is projected to grow to over 1.3 million individuals in less than10 years.

SIM NJ is pleased to have the JDRF as the benefactor of our charity golf outing and we look forward to working closely with them as our primary benefactor.
