
The New Jersey Chapter of the Society for Information Management meetings are usually held on the second Thursday of each month from September through June beginning at 5:00 PM at the Madison Hotel, One Convent Road at Madison Avenue in Morristown, New Jersey.

All attendees are requested to dress, at minimum, in business casual attire.
The meetings focus on current topics of interest in senior IT executives and normally includes presentations, facilitated "brainstorming" sessions, or panel discussions with subject matter experts or chapter members. Interactions between members and presenters are encouraged during the meeting, as well as during dinner.

Guest Policy
Guests are permitted to attend chapter meetings only if accompanied by the sponsoring chapter member. The sponsoring member will be responsible for the payment of the guest's meeting fee. Within the same program year (July 1 – June 30), a guest is only permitted to attend two (2) New Jersey Chapter meetings and/or events. If for some reason the sponsoring member is unable to attend, he or she may request that a member of the Executive Committee stand in for the evening as the guest’s escort. This must be pre-arranged. The number of guests may be limited at the discretion of the Executive Committee.
The sponsoring chapter member is responsible to insure that the guest understands and adheres to NJSIM's chapter rules and policies and SIM's Code of Conduct.
A chapter member may request the waiver of the monthly meeting fee for their guest if the guest meets our membership criteria and the guest is attending as a “potential member” with a good possibility of joining the New Jersey Chapter and the attendance of the guest is first approved through the VP, Membership.
