FBI Domain Program and the Foreign Threat to US Technology


Program Description:

Join your fellow SIM members for a presentationabout theFBI Domain Program and the Foreign Intelligence Threat to US Technology.  US companies are prime targets for economic espionage directed at commercial and proprietary technology. To help address this threat, the FBI has established the FBI Business Alliance Program, a strategic outreach program directed to working with the private business sector.

The presentation included information on the foreign intelligence collection threat in New Jersey and the United States, methods of collection, case studies on collection activity and cases, threats to the supply chain, and current trends in cyber intrusions and collections. The presentation also outlined the risks of economic espionage that can occur when companies engage in joint ventures or establish research and/or production facilities outside the United States.
