Michael is co-founder of ClarityClose, a win consultancy specializing in helping those who sell products, services, companies or causes improve their win/loss ratios. The firm’s services include win readiness audits, win mapping, win story crafting, win asset packaging and win/loss analysis.
Michael and his partner, Karen See were both CEOs of their own firms and often met in competitive battle. Michael started Merge Agency in 1991 and Karen founded Abovo Group in 1997. They joined forces in order to share their experiences of closing over 300 new accounts worth over $100 million. Their clients include those responsible for revenue-generating activities that need a competitive advantage during critical moments of decision.
While at the helm of Merge, Michael applied his marketing expertise to help companies through brand and culture transformations. His clients included Cingular Wireless, Johnson & Johnson, Godiva, IHG Hotels, IBM, WebMD, AmeriSource Bergen and many others. Working with North Highland, Merge helped build a $10 million consulting practice.
A native Texan, Michael received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas.
